Slingshot Esports was born from a transformative moment shared between a father, Brendan, and his son, Keegan. As Brendan delved into understanding his son's passion for video games, a strong bond formed between them, forever altering their relationship. Recognizing the immense potential to inspire and uplift the gaming community, both in person and online, they embarked on a journey to challenge the stereotypes and marginalization faced by gamers and esports athletes. Slingshot Esports emerged as a beacon of change, determined to make a difference.

Slingshot embarked on its journey in June 2021, propelled by a visionary team led by the trailblazing founder, Brendan. This dynamic concept team emerged from within the esteemed confines of Push The Rock, a worldwide physical sports ministry headquartered in Emmaus, PA. Driven by a thirst for growth and an insatiable curiosity for the future, Brendan and Slingshot Esports gracefully transitioned away from Push The Rock in early 2023, eager to explore new horizons and unlock their full potential.

Brendan remains at the helm of Slingshot, spearheading the team with unwavering support from an exceptional group of individuals who are deeply committed to the mission and purpose of Slingshot.
